Hola!  I am Whitney, the artist behind Rarezas Art.  I would like to welcome you to this small corner of my mind.  It can be a whimsical and sometimes dark experience, but I hope that like me, you find a certain beauty in all things outside of the norm.  

 

Rarezas is a Spanish word meaning 'oddities'. I chose this name because I felt it was an accurate representation of myself and my creations.  Even from a young age, I never really fit in with the normal crowd.  I believe that because of this, I was able to find the rare beauty in things most find strange, unusual, or even disgusting. Things like bats and spiders, or ghosts and cemeteries.  It is this theme that I try to integrate into every piece of art I make.   So please, explore, and perhaps you will see how an oddity can also be a work of art.
