Before This is what Lady Death looked like before her transformation!

The Dead Moth Bride CUSTOM: This detailed and elaborate bride features the famous Dead Moth - a moth with markings that look like a skull.
Dead Moth Detail My first attempt at realism on a figure, the Dead Moth Bride turned out to be one of my favourite figures!

Back This unique bride was painted to the exact specifications of one of our wonderful customers! Also, with the knowledge that this particular figure was going to be a wedding gift, I decided to go with a bridal theme as well as the dead moth.
Left Pulling from the colours of the Dead Moth, I decided to continue with the monochromatic sepia tones, and had inspiration from Edwardian Bridal couture, and artists like Alphonse Mucha of the period.
Date Detail It was also important to feature the wedding date on the figure, and this is my first attempt at lettering - or numbering on a figure.
Final note The Dead Moth Bride was a wonderful challenge and a labour of love. I hope that the happy couple love their new figure, and that they find endless love in their marriage.

Kali: Goddess of Destruction CUSTOM: Kali, a powerful and dangerous deity is from Hindu Mythology.
Right The Goddess Kali is always depicted with her tongue out, and sometimes she even has razor sharp teeth!
Back She is also sometimes depicted with flowers, especially blue lotus flowers.
Left She also normally has black hair, but I felt that keeping her hair black would not have been interesting enough, so I gave her rainbow hair!
Third Eye Detail Kali is also famous for her blue complexion. Some times she is given a third eye, which in this case I incorporated with a Bindi - a piece of traditional Indian jewelry.
Head Necklace Right Detail The final constant portrayal of Kali, shows her wearing a belt that has the heads of Kali's enemies hanging from it. Because this is a bust, I created a necklace instead.
Necklace Detail Front Each face is different, wearing different expressions, scars and colours to echo the colours in her hair.
Necklace Detail Left Also, this is the chosen prize of Jenna Jones, the Winner of the Dress Up Your Pet Contest. The prize was actually generously passed on to her by the actual winner, LaDonna May!
